I wrote an essay in girlhood for my university magazine and this really resonated with points I was trying to make in 2023! Thank you - a likeminded girl
Being a girl is more dangerous now because parents let their sons be tormented by “porn” from the age of 13. For 20 years and counting. While screaming denial at the top of their lungs that it’s causing this explosion in misogyny.
“They were girls in the way their mothers did not want to be girls.” This quote really stood out to me and captures something I’ve been struggling to articulate in conversations of girlhood. Thank you writing this!!
The first substack post to almost bring me to tears.

This is great. I am so happy that I wasn’t the only 11yo obsessed with Running Out of Time!
