I kept a bunch of my old paperbacks that I lugged from every apartment I lived in around Minneapolis in my 20s. Sweet Valley High 4ever!

WAIT! Almost didn't get to enter, but this is niche and important: My Libby Lou fairy dust, which I worshiped and believed had powers, my dolphin photo stand/decor, and my hit clips!

I kept a few sketchbooks with comics I did in high school, and recently my Mom sent me my Dad's acoustic guitar which I used when I was learning to play.

Congrats on 2k! I kept my daisy bedspread and I wish I at least had pictures of how I decorated my mirror and my posters. I had some print outs of different quotes and pages from magazines, etc. I did have my American Girl scrapbook but an ex trashed it after we broke up.

I cherish so many things from my kid world, I'm always going back to delve deeper into it. One thing in particular that comes to mind that I kept is from a time when I was probably 5 or 6 years old when I went over to someone's house and they had literally every care bear toy imaginable including the cloud mobile that multiple of the bears could climb into and roll around in and I was absolutely awestruck by the overwhelming cuteness of it all and fell in love with their collection. Once it was time to leave they completely unexpectedly gave me not one but two care bears to keep and to bring home with me! That was the kindest gesture ever and those care bears are still a part of my collection today.

I’m happy I kept my record player from Urban Outfitters. I’m sure if it still works and I used it that the sound quality would be horrible, but I love its vibe and all the stickers I put on it 🎶🩷

I've technically kept basically everything, because my old room is still the way it was when I was a teen at my parents' house haha. But one thing I wish I'd kept was my model horses! I was a huge horse girl as a kid and I really regret getting rid of those.

my aunt and uncle upgraded their home sound system and gave me their old six cd, two cassette, four speaker + subwoofer stereo and it was my most cherished possession for my entire teenhood. i spent hours and hours lying on the ground in my room listening to my multi hundred cd collection - i sometimes miss both, even though i have great speakers and turntable with a deep vinyl collection now!!

I commented this on your IG post because I can't follow instructions but I wish I still had this mini blue locker from Limited Too. I think about it constantly.

It's not a material object but I've kept up the habit of taping the year's ephemera to my walls (ticket stubs, etc) and then transferring them to a notebook at the end of the year. I think I'll do it for the rest of my life.
